Colon 2 - Belgrano 0

Deserved win for Colon, who scored very early with only 1 minute played in the game and of course that goal made things a lot easier for them.
They dominated the 1st half where they could have scored one more, and Belgrano's best moments of the game came in the first 15 minutes of the 2nd half but they missed the few chances to score they had and once Colon took back the control of the game they scored the 2nd and finished it.
Colon is now 5 points behind the leaders with 6 rounds left and it's time for them to step up and continue winning if they want to fight for the championship. Will they do it, or they will just melt down and disappear like they usually do ?
Belgrano won't have issued in the Averages table this season (unless they collapse and lose 3-4 games in a row now) but they seem to be too relaxed, and also it looks like they've already reached their best and without Vazquez (gone to Palermo back in January) and Pereyra (injured 2 weeks ago and out for the season) their offense is seriously weakened.

* Copa Argentina Quarterfinals start this Wednesday with Racing facing 2nd division side Atletico Tucuman. Racing is expected to use their best lineup and it's an obvious decision given that they have no chances to fight for the championship in Clausura. The other Quarterfinals are scheduled one game on each of the following Wednesdays, but I wouldn't be surprised if something of this is changed.

* Estudiantes still doesn't have a coach, and if they have a candidate it's a big mystery. Main candidate was Mauricio Pellegrino, who signed with Valencia and today there were ridiculous rumors that Carlos Bilardo (1986 World Cup champion coaching Argentina and all time idol of Estudiantes as player and coach) could come out of retirement, but it was denied. New candidates are Jorge Sampaoli (current coach of Universidad de Chile) and Gerardo Pelusso (current coach of Paraguay's Olimpia) but both look like long shots right now.

* Round 14 will start next Friday and will feature some interesting matches, the main one of course is Boca - Velez, a game that in the long run could be key for the championship.
The other leader, Newell's, plays at home against the needed Union who could be back in trouble in the Averages table if they lose, and the derby of the round is Lanus-Banfield, two teams based on very close neighborhoods in the South of Buenos Aires.
