Round 9 started with no surprises in terms of results, but a big one by Arsenal, who is (at least temporarily) the only leader of Clausura!

Arsenal 2 - Olimpo 1

No matter if they deserve to win, draw or lose, lately Olimpo just loses. Arsenal was really not much better than them but they are in a sweet moment and were very effective in attack to use the few scoring options they had, while Olimpo seems to know that they will be relegated at the end of the season and that nothing they can do will change this. They really tried but once again fell short and left empty handed.
Arsenal won 5 in a row for the first time in 1st division, and at least for now they are the only leader of Clausura !

Velez 1 - Independiente 1

Velez - Independiente was 2 matches in one. A very good, fast paced 1st half where the visitors scored a very early goal but Velez got a deserved equalizer, and a veeeeery boring and dull 2nd half where nothing happened until the 92nd minute when Velez hit the bar with a header that could have been the winning goal.
Independiente went all in defense in the 2nd half like if the draw was a good result for them, and Velez had absolutely no ideas so even though the host could have been the winner, the draw was a fair result.

5 matches on Saturday to continue Round 9 action (KO times in GMT -3):

15.00--Banfield-Unión de Santa Fe
17.10--Colón de Santa Fe-Lanús
17.10--Boca Juniors-Argentinos Juniors
19.30--All Boys-Tigre
19.30--Atlético Rafaela-San Martín de San Juan

The derby between Racing and San Lorenzo that was going to be played on Sunday at 7pm (local time, GMT-3) was moved to Monday at the same time.
The reason is that on Wednesday there was a really huge storm in Buenos Aires with very strong winds that left lots of damages, and the province of Buenos Aires police couldn't commit to cover the security needed for this derby.
This also affects Round 10 schedule because the San Lorenzo - Godoy Cruz game that was scheduled for next Friday will be played on Saturday.
